Tedlar® PVF Sampling Bag

Product Description:

Tedlar^® PVF sampling bags are made of 50mil polyvinyl fluoride (PVF) film by Dupont USA. This film has excellent chemical resistance, solvent resistance and fouling resistance, and it resists to acid and alkali. At room temperature, the PVF film is generally considered inert and can be used to collect samples containing common solvents.

Tedlar^® PVF sampling bags can be applied to collect carbon monoxide (CO), sulfur dioxide (SO₂), hydrogen sulfide (H₂S), benzene, radon and mercaptans, hydrocarbons and chlorinated solvents.

They are suitable for short-term storage of low concentrations of corrosive gases (ppm, ppb level) and chemically active gases (do pre-saturation processing). Tedlar^® PVF sampling bags can also be applied to collect photosensitive compounds and halogenated volatile organic compounds (VOC).

If active compounds of ppm or ppb level are gas sample, Tedlar^® PVF sampling bags need to be cleaned with high purity air or pure nitrogen to reduce the impact of previous gas sample. The sampling bags can also be heated in the oven from 40°C to 60°C to remove the influence of previous gas sample.

Tedlar^® PVF sampling bags are recommended in many US EPA methods including TCLP and methods TO-3 (VOCs), TO-12 (NMOC), TO-14A (VOCs), TO-15 (VOCs), ASTM D-5504 (reduced sulfur compounds) and a variety of atmospheric gas methods.

Aluminum foil composite film can be used outside of the bags to avoid sample degradation.

The continuous service temperature is from -72°C to 107°C.

We make bags to fit any particular size or application needs and offer sizes from 0.5 liters to 4,000 liters.

We provide valve accessories for various sizes of Tedlar^® PVF sampling bags.

We also offer Clip-n-Seal^® tape for sealing solids in bags. For example: interior car accessories and plant.
